Hi , I am in processes of developing a package which will automate the installation of SQL 2014 Client tools . Instead of using the complete set up , the idea is to pick the files from the setup.exe which can help installing the SQL management studio. Could you please guide if sql_ssms.msi be of any use here.I try to ran only sql_ssms.msi on a server but it is not prompting any screen nor the installation is happening using this package. Do I need to run any other file in order to install the SQL 2014 management tools. Would appreciate quick help on this !Regards
